Peter is all about curating the feeling of nostalgia. The classic tale of Peter Pan and Dear Wendy Darling reimagined in dark and dreary 1980s London. As the Director and lead writer on this project, I wanted to evoke a feeling you sometimes can’t quite put finger on, a distant longing to bask in the warmth of memory and comfort. Peter is stuck in the comfort of his past, filled with sickeningly sweet smells of candy floss, twinkling carnival lights, and the sounds of the pier creaking beneath him. In order to stay in this dreamland, Peter turns to drugs, grooming young Wendy to crave the same escape. What happens when Wendy starts to wake up?
