Inspired by rubber hose cartoons and logos largely popular in the 20s and 30s, I designed my logo in Procreate and Adobe Illustrator.
I created this 80s editorial inspired ad in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for the camera of my dreams, the Fujifilm XT-30 ii.
Personal Work
One of my favorite drinks ever, the cereal milk matcha available at Knoxville’s own Kbrew, reminded me of the comfort of cereal in the mornings. This poster is made complete by the fonts and graphics inspired by the 50s.
This little PB&J guy is hand drawn, then converted in adobe illustrator just like my personal logo.
L’oréal Brandstorm 2025
I had the distinct pleasure of working with Chandler Dixon and Kim Le for L’oréals 2025 Brandstorm competition. Though we did not place, working on this project was a valuable learning experience that taught me the importance of brand research, product development, and teamwork. On this project, I was responsible for sourcing design assets and footage, editing copy, and editing our final video for submission.
Tame the Beast Poster Series
For my final project in my journalism capstone course, we were tasked with creating solidarity posters with a message relating to stereotypes discussed over the course of the semester. I focused on the portrayal of women in print advertising, starting in the 1950s with Helen Homemaker and Betty Briefcase. I came up with the tagline “tame the beast,” referring to the advertising trend of keeping women too busy to focus on other things perhaps of more import.
